It’s back… the much-loved NEOM Wellbeing Edit – something I love to collate as it gives me the chance to share with you all some of my favourite wellbeing products which I swear by.
It’s so tempting, come January, to be drawn in by the quick fixes all over your social media feeds… we’ve all been tempted haven’t we! But ditching these and focusing instead on the small, fun and achievable things can make a really BIG difference. When it’s easy, it sticks. It shouldn’t feel like hard work. This was the exact basis for our Wellbeing Edit which I started three years ago. Rest assured they’ve each been tried and tested and I can promise you you’ll love them! Here's the one's that made the cut this year...
1. ‘The Stress Solution’ by Dr Rangan Chatterjee
Often feel like you’re burning the candle at both ends? I know I do sometimes. If stress is catching you out too, Dr Chatterjee (a medical doctor with over 20 years experience, who is also well worth an Instagram follow - @drchattejee) does a brilliant job of breaking it down and giving you simple solutions and small changes which I’m all about. It’s really helped me, and I love that each of his suggestions only takes a few minutes.
2. Aeyla Eucalyptus Silk Pillow
I’m all for anything that will help me sleep better and these pillow cases are next level. It was my saviour last summer on hot nights and I’ve even noticed my hair is much less frizzier in the mornings and I can skip hair wash day more. It’s also woven from sustainable eucalyptus tree fibres. What’s not to love?
Perfect pairing: our Perfect Night's Sleep Pillow Mist of course.
3. Larq Self-Cleaning Water Bottle
If, like me, your New Year’s resolution is to drink more water, then get yourself one of these self-cleaning and self-purifying bottles. I love how fresh water tastes and that it keeps it cool for up to 12 hours. Oh and you’ll also be doing your bit for the planet too as no more plastic bottles.
4. Ostrichpillow Heated Neck Wrap
After a long day at my laptop, this heated neck wrap which is made from all-natural clay beads gives the ultimate ‘ahh’ moment when watching TV or reading. I’ve been warming mine, but you can also freeze it too if you prefer a cooling sensation. It’s not just for necks either, I use mine on my lower back or even to warm cold feet!
Perfect pairing: lighting our Happiness Candle.
5. The Wild Journal’ by Willow Crosley
Celebrating the power of nature in its ability to mend, heal and transform our mood, this is an uplifting read for the New Year. It’s simple, clever and mood-boosting. I love how it’s sectioned into seasons and that it’s overflowing with easy ways we can all connect with the great outdoors… or indoors in fact. It will have you potting plants, arranging flowers and really appreciating the beauty of nature.
6. 'Breathe In, Breathe Out’ by Stuart Sandeman
Sceptical about breathwork? I was too and despite everyone raving about how great it can be, it took for me to read this to be properly convinced. It’s such a handy little tool that you can use anywhere and everywhere and it’s particularly helped me to switch off my racing mind before bed.
7. Biovene Scalp Massager
Since launching our own haircare range last year, I’ve really been swotting up on the benefits of looking after your scalp so this 100% biodegradable scalp massager quickly became a shower staple for me. I use mine whilst letting my conditioner work its magic plus it’s super energising on hair wash mornings.”
Perfect pairing: our Super Shower Power Shampoo & Conditioner of course.
